BRBVA entered into a cooperative agreement with BREC in October 2011, immediately broke ground on a $5 million dollar Team Automotive Group Sportsplex, and opened its doors in July of 2012. The facility incorporates multiple competitive indoor courts that can be used for a variety of activities. BRBVA has three over-arching goals for the facility: 1) Provide quality, family-oriented recreational opportunities for the citizens of East Baton Rouge Parish; 2) Holistic coaching principles into youth basketball and volleyball programming; and 3) Create an engaging, inclusive environment where participants from diverse socio-economic backgrounds can interact.
